Stunning album written and recorded by Anna Lavigne and Martin Stephenson.
Anna originally worked closely and toured in the UK for a while with Rik Mayall, Ade Edmondson and Nigel Planer with the Young Ones; she also worked alongside Marti Caine and spent many years touring internationally with her old pal Lindsay Kemp, RIP. Anna came off the road when her sons were born and spent time as a voice artist and tour manager. She met Martin almost 5 years ago and the two just clicked, touring everywhere together until the recent lockdown. Martin noticed a talent in Anna as a lyricist and formed a natural connection with her as she is a natural co-writer and accomplice in creativity. He began encouraging Anna to write lyrics and co-write songs... this came to fruition on the album 'Bayswater Road' where she co-wrote 3 or 4 songs, one notably being 'Every Kind of Heaven'. She delivered instantly and this triggered Stephenson's enthusiasm to encourage her writing, which has gone from strength to strength...
The songs are diverse and beautifully arranged with a truly original slant.
